Will Grand Theft Auto VI be nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2026?

Resolution Criteria

GTA VI launches November 19, 2026 — just weeks before The Game Awards 2026 (~mid-December). Reports suggest GTA 6 could miss the TGA 2026 Game of the Year field on an eligibility technicality if its release falls outside the nomination cutoff. Resolves YES if Grand Theft Auto VI is among the announced Game of the Year nominees at The Game Awards 2026; resolves NO if it is not nominated (including if deemed ineligible for the 2026 field).
