Will Capcom announce a new Resident Evil game in 2026?

Resolution Criteria

Resolves YES if Capcom officially announces a new mainline or major spin-off Resident Evil game (including remakes) in 2026. DLC and expansions do not count. Resolves NO if no such announcement is made by December 31, 2026. With RE Requiem's massive success, Capcom has momentum — but they typically space RE releases 2-3 years apart.
